Who We Are
Board Game Therapy™ / Solid State Strategies, LLC. Contact: hello@playbgt.com.
Forms
Contact, waitlist, newsletter, and pilot-interest forms are sent by email to hello@playbgt.com so we can reply. Submitted fields (name, email, message, interest, and related form fields) are delivered to that inbox. Do not submit information you do not want stored or emailed. These forms are not clinical intake.
Email List (Kit)
If you sign up for the free TABLE Method™ guide or email updates, the form sends your email address, your first name, and any interests you tick to Kit (kit.com), the email service we use. Kit stores them so we can send the guide and the emails you asked for, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Quiz results never require an email address.
Purchases (Gumroad)
Game guides and the All-Guides Pass are sold through Gumroad at playbgt.gumroad.com. When you buy, you give your payment and contact details to Gumroad, not to this site, and we never see your card number. As the seller, we receive order details from Gumroad, such as your email address and what you bought, so we can deliver and support your purchase.
Server Logs
Like most websites, our web server automatically records standard details for each request: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the response code, the referring page, and your browser’s user agent. We use these logs to keep the site working and secure and to see which pages are used. Logs are kept on our server for about 14 days and then deleted automatically.
Google Fonts
Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To deliver them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and standard browser information. See the Google Fonts privacy FAQ and Google’s privacy policy.
Links to Other Sites
Links to Gumroad, X, Instagram and Facebook take you to those sites, and their privacy policies apply there. We do not embed their tracking scripts on this site.
Browser Tools
Some interactive tools on this site may store a session in this browser’s localStorage. There is no account. Item text is not sent to analytics. You can clear the session from the tool. Clearing deletes the local copy; we cannot recover it.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it: which pages are viewed, how people arrive (for example, from a search engine), approximate location at the city or country level, device and browser type, and clicks such as buy buttons and links to other sites. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart. Your browser sends your IP address to Google to deliver the service; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, we have turned off Google’s optional data sharing, and we never send names, email addresses, or free-text content from interactive tools. The Play Profile assessment does not load Google Analytics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Cookies
No advertising pixels are installed. Google Analytics sets the analytics cookies described above. The host may set functional cookies needed to operate the site or forms.
Future Cloud Save
Not implemented. If cloud save is offered later, it will require explicit opt-in, a retention policy, deletion controls, and separate marketing consent.
