Therapy Boundary
Board Game Therapy™ is not inherently psychotherapy. Its use depends on the facilitator, scope, setting, and purpose. Host and Coach applications remain nonclinical. Playing a board game does not automatically make an activity therapy. Coaching through playBGT™ is nonclinical developmental work and does not establish a counselor-client or psychotherapist-client treatment relationship. Clinical counseling, if offered elsewhere, is a separate practice and is not provided through this site.
Military Affiliation
Board Game Therapy™ is a private venture and is not endorsed by the U.S. Government or any of its departments. References to military service on this site are biographical only and do not imply official endorsement. Views expressed here are the author’s and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the Department of Defense or the U.S. Government.
